Editions on the EBSCO platform

As part of the national subscription, the University is provided with the company's publications EBSCO Information Services GmbH (EBSCO) in English.
To search for e-books, you need to go to the library's Electronic catalog, mark the database on the right EBSCO Electronic Editions, in the search, enter the topic you are interested in (keyword). To download the book you must log in.

"Surprise!" is a textbook on the Russian language for English-speaking foreigners who are just starting to learn Russian. The course includes 12 sections (5 lessons of 60–80 minutes in each section). Every fifth lesson is an intermediate control, during which students will be able to check the material they have learned.
The course includes audio recordings that can be downloaded for free from the author's website.
Each section touches on the most important topics for everyday communication at the elementary level of proficiency in Russian as a foreign language.
In the middle and at the end of the course, testing is offered to check progress and board games are separated into separate lessons. The entire course can be completed in 65 lessons. The grammatical material offered in the course meets the standard and prepares students to pass the elementary level test.
